We built this because we needed it.
Room 27 was founded by two business builders who know the highs, lows and inner battles of leading, failing and succeeding, and who are committed to helping others do it with more clarity, presence and purpose.
Dr Troye Wallett
A doctor, a successfully exited founder, Telstra Business Awards winner and founder of multiple current businesses.
Also a world-class triathlete, mountain biker, dad and house husband who admits he spends too much time in his own head. Troye loves to remind Mike that just because it's serious doesn't mean it can't be fun.
He's tall, but not as tall as Mike.
Mike Scott
A two-time exited founder, including a 7-figure exit, a global top 1% business coach and APAC director of an 8-figure software business.
Competitive mountain biker, wellness enthusiast, husband and dad, well known for catastrophising. Mike loves to remind Troye that awesomeness happens on the other side of hard work and fear.
He's taller than Troye. Not that it's a competition (but if it were, he'd be winning).
They built Room 27 because it's what they wished they'd had earlier: a room of peers who won't let you play small, and a way to build not just a strong business but a strong body and mind too.

The things we get asked most often.
What is Room 27?
Room 27 is a private network of business builders built around facilitated Circles. You join a Circle of up to eight business builders and meet for four hours every month to build your best business and your best life. Around your Circle sit Grow events, fireside chats, Nourish events and Level Ups.
What happens in a Circle?
You do your prep before you walk in. Then four hours, phones away, with a facilitator holding the room. It opens with a check-in: each person shares a win, a loss or an issue from the month, and ends with an ask of the group. Then two members take the chair, one at a time, and bring a real challenge they're working through. The Circle asks hard questions, then reflects and shares from experience, not advice. Nobody tries to fix you. It closes with commitments: one insight from the day and one clear action for the month ahead. Next month, you report back on how it went.
Who facilitates?
Every Circle is run by an expert facilitator, so the quality is high and consistent. You get to focus on doing the work.
Is Room 27 right for me?
If your business has passed roughly $2m in revenue, you're likely in the right room, whether it's your first business or your fifth. If you're earlier than that but have built and run businesses before, get in touch and we'll have a conversation.
How is Room 27 different from other peer groups?
There are great peer groups out there. Room 27 is built around one thing: small, expertly facilitated Circles of business builders. We run every Circle, so you can focus on the work. And we work on the whole operator, business, body and mind, because your business will never outperform the operator.
Where does Room 27 operate?
Just Adelaide for now. However, we have members fly in from Melbourne and Sydney to attend.
How do I join?
Email Mike (our co-founder) to arrange a conversation.
How much does it cost?
$1,111 + GST a month. Join before 31 December 2026 and that price is locked in for life. From 1 January 2027, new members pay $1,500 + GST a month. The bigger investment is four hours a month in your Circle.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. You can leave any time with three months' notice. Why three months? The urge to leave often shows up when something hard hits, and that's exactly when your Circle is most useful.
Can I bring a guest?
Circles are closed and confidential, so no guests in Circle. Plus-ones are welcome at most of our other events.
Who founded Room 27?
Room 27 was founded by Dr Troye Wallett and Mike Scott, two experienced founders and business builders who have each built and exited businesses.
